Back home in New Jersey, the surest sign of spring would be the crocuses poking their buds through the last of the week’s-old snow. Well, no crocuses here in my yard in Indianapolis, but the robins are out, the last snows are melting off and large areas of wintered grass are showing. The squirrels are running in frenzied circles, chasing each other up and down trees and around the wood pile. Yep, spring is coming!
This photo by Meredith Farmer took me back to my early springs and I thought I’d share it. It is one of several hundreds of photos posted by a talented, thoughtful, and beautiful-yet-troubled artist. She has different albums with various themes that are all worth checking out.
