I confess, I have not yet watched last night’s episode of House, but I do know the surprise of the night and the truth of the real-life situation. If you don’t know and don’t want anything spoiled, STOP READING NOW!
OK, you’ve been warned. By now, America is all abuzz over Kal Penn’s departure from House, something none of us apparently saw coming until Lawrence Kutner’s suicidal death was revealed last night. An abrupt way to take out a character, but as the news goes, he is moving on and moving up.
Can’t say that it’s a role we really need but obviously, if you work hard enough for someone’s campaign and know the right people, you can be well placed.
But I just can’t get the image of him as a terrorist out of my mind. (Has nothing to do with his ethnicity—has everything to do with watching 24) Next thing you know, Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) will be called into the Oval Office to talk to the President about the moles in his administration… and we’ll find that Nina Myers (had to fit Sarah Clarke in somehow!) is still alive and working for the Russians!
Sounds like it could be a pretty good story line.
