Boy! That’s WAAAAY out of date!!!
So these days, I’m working in St Louis, going back and forth between here and Indy every week. Back home are my wife, two daughters, two sons, same old dog, and fewer fish. The house was listed on June 1st as we prepared to move to St Louis and we suspended the listing a mere three weeks later. Job issues and uncertainty, and a few other concerns as well. We’ll sit tight for now. Besides, if you read my latest posts, you’ll see I’m stuck in a lease for a while anyway.
I guess I can now add Missouri to the states I’ve lived in. At times, it’s more like “Misery” but I’m getting used to it. I still have dreams of getting back to England and I’d love to take Steph to Israel as well. I will keep trying. One of these days, some really kind person may read this and send us to Israel on a “scholarship”. Now wouldn’t that be a cool thing to blog about???
Shalom!

Trebord. I needed a unique user name and this is what came to mind. I live in Indiana with my family–my wife, three daughters, two sons, a dog, and multiple fish. We’ve been here for since 2001–the longest I’ve lived in one place in all my adult life! It’s not for lack of trying. In 2007 and 2008, we tried unsuccessfully to sell our house and to move, whether northwards toward Chicago or 180 degrees in the opposite direction to Lexington, KY. Nothing happened and ultimately, we decided on Superbowl Sunday 2008 to take the house off of the market. So here we are.
I’m a New Jersey native with an all-over life. I’ve lived in Colorado, England, Germany (West Germany at the time), Alabama, back to Colorado, back to New Jersey, and now Indiana. My wife is from California–but that’s another story for another day. My travels have taken me to all but 7 states (Alaska, Hawaii, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin), Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, and Israel–and that’s in addition to England and Germany which were already mentioned. I’d love to travel more but family and obligations prevent that right now. In 2008, my dreams were to take my oldest daughter to England and to take my wife to Israel. With a job change, that wasn’t possible. We’ll keep trying.
I think there is some information here that will need to be updated soon
I have been watching for a new blog post and to find out how things are going on your newest life adventure. Take care and update those you left behind when you get the chance.

Hi! Thanks for the posting!!! Well, I’ve not done anything blog wise for at least two reasons. The first is that I’ve been busy with getting settled into the new job. The second is that I’ve been really depressed over things and just couldn’t find my voice. Some of the things that have me down are actually a bit too personal and transparent to blog about, at least here. So I’ve done nothing. Look for some posts as I come to terms with my new life.
Robert – If you know who I am, please send me an e-mail. It has been many years since I have heard from you so I hope you are the right person…Stefanie
