What does all this mean? It means we devised a calendar system with months, days of the week, and numerical representations. Nothing more. There is nothing significant about a Friday being the 13th day of the month. Which reminds me that there was an AWFUL movie I saw years ago—Saturday the 14th! So this Friday the 13th, my good friend Jim Beaulieu died unexpectedly. Has nothing to do with the date or the luck of the date—just thought I’d share with you.
It’s now Saturday, the 14th. My wonderful wife’s birthday. Ironically, a few years back on this same date, she lost one of her brothers, also named Jim.
